You Know You're Getting Older...

...when you get sad over a toaster.  A toaster!

Chris and I were out at BB&B trying to pick up a couple of things that were left over from our registry and I really wanted this toaster.

Come to find out they only sell it online, sad face because that meant I couldn't use a coupon for 20% off.  Luckily it was on Amazon without tax or shipping, and will be heading our way next week. I was able to use coupons on more towels, mixing bowls, canisters for dog treats and a collapsible colander.

I also hit up Target's after Christmas sale and picked up decor items for 70% off.  Can not wait to decorate for next year!

Have you done any post holiday shopping?

  3. I went out, but didn't really get anything. I was tempted by a lot of the sales, but usually for clothes and right now buying clothes isn't all that exciting for me.

  6. I need to go clothes shopping! I head out with that in mind and then end up with more items for the house instead.

  7. Um, that's an amazing toaster. And we are definitely adults when we spend NYD discussing our plans, hopes, dreams and goals for the new year instead of nursing a hangover. :)

  8. Is it wrong that I totally salivate over those super uber toasters on the sample sales that cost like $280?!? I mean... why do I need a flame yellow toaster... but I want it... and BAD!

  9. If you call BBB customer service you can usually order stuff online with your coupon. Just FYI :) I did that when I was buying this big $200 cookware set for my cousin's gift registry and it was only available online.
